Alpha Wolf by Susanne Valenti & Caroline Peckham

I understand the no hunting rule to a certain extent, but with it being such a blatant base instinct, so hard for even Caleb and Hadley to ignore, it’s weird that it’s in place. Like, wolves have to have physical touch. They crave it on an intrinsic level, just like vampires with the hunt. I get that it’s objectively not great, especially after what Caleb did to Tory, but at the same time, in a controlled environment? I can’t see how it would be anything but beneficial to let them experience their base urges just like any other order.

Sin is… far too overtly sexual for me. It’s so off putting I can’t even begin to figure out how to get over the ick factor. Though, it does make me laugh how many times the others ask him in complete befuddlement why he’s hard.

I am… beyond enamored with Cain. The shower scene with 200? Holy, good almighty god. Yes.

I’m tired. Just… the drama for the sake of drama without truly driving the plot, it grates.

Ohhhh, go fucking figure. Roary’s alive. No way...  you’re telling me there’s… *checks notes* no consequences and no genuine stakes? Color me shocked.

The authors note at the end is just a kick in the teeth because, no. We know you would never do it as you’ve proven time and time and time again.
