I am profoundly shocked by that twist but also it makes so much sense. It's so obvious once it's all put together. 10/10

I love Wren. I love a feral queen, especially one who resonates with me so deeply. Her arc is crazy, though. I will be immediately reading book 2. 

And Oak? HIS SISTER IS JUDE DUARTE. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD EVER DOUBT HIS ABILITY TO FIGHT?????? His sister is a master of letting the Fae make assumptions only to consistently prove them wrong. His sister is a master of using a fool underestimating her to her advantage. You think Oak WOULDN'T pick up a thing or two from her?????? Please.
