The world building is certainly not lacking. It's detailed and evocative, descriptions adding to the world building without taking away from the story.

Tuheru is EASILY my favorite character. He's so sweet and innocent despite his skill set. Honestly such an angel.

The deceipt! The subterfuge! The scandal! So many plot twists in a novella.

And maybe I'm biased, but I'm not surprised by Amaz. Men will always turn to violence before they make an attempt with words. Always the first to betray the people who love them.
