Men's role in society remains interesting. Men like Tuheru being so casual about not having offspring just shows how completely some behaviors can be socialized out. I wonder if his perspective is the common one or if he's a particularly docile dog. (Even the most docile dog can bite if provoked) Beknej answered that question, and honestly, I can't wait to see how Tuheru handles that information.
Cracks are forming in the foundation of the Sestra's society.
The problem with men like Amaz is that it's never really about women. It's about power. The same reason some people are racist as well as misogynistic. Once you take women out of the equation, they still want that power over others. "It made him feel powerful. In control." Exactly my point.
Leave it to a man to break trust the moment he gets a modicum of it.
I can confidently say I was not expecting that plot twist with Izakk but am ecstatic to see what comes of it.
The way my mouth DROPPED on that last sentence. Was not prepared.
