Bonds of Hercules by Jasmine Mas

I just have to start with I am fucking obsessed with Patro and Achilles love story and it doesn’t need to involve Alexis or anyone else. They’re perfect already on their own and the fucking symbolism of what he did in the arena? They’re it. They’re the ideal. 

Poco is my favorite character bar none. The finger guns? The armor in the arena? The perfect little dude. 

Alexis’s decision remains unsurprising. Patro and Achilles could never truly love and protect her the way she deserves. They could never offer her the kind of devotion Karen and the raccoon mother can. There’s no competition in my mind. It was always going to be them. 

Anyway, this remains the funniest, most unserious series I’ve ever read as far as the comedy aspect of it and I love it. 5 stars from me every single time. It was also a lot less repetitive than book one which definitely helped, but regardless book one was a banger too.
