This is a nice reminder that there is healing after suffering. Happiness fluctuates, but at the end of it all, life goes on and we persevere.

I love Lireah’s journey of healing and self discovery. Finding peace in the arms of women who value the safety and protection of the women in their company. It’s so nice to have a story that helps push the narrative that we can find peace again.

It’s as well written as the rest of the books in the Mythos of the Hollowed Souls universe. Personally, I think this is a really great one to start with as an introduction to the world as well. The details are all there in book one, but this one gives a little more context for the world building right out the gate.
