Mmmmmmmmm, Hades. 

I love a sunshiny bad bitch. I love the duality of Persephone. I just love Persephone. 

What I really love, though, is how unique a take this was on the story of Hades and Persephone. There’s always going to be a million retelling a of the classics but I’ve definitely never read one like this. 

The way Katee perfectly captured the soul of Persephone as more than a myth, but as an idea of what we can be when we fight for freedom was just… fuck. I don’t know I feel like I need 3 to 5 business days to fully process the nuance of this portrayal of her and Hades. 

This would be 5 stars if there had been more story outside the bedroom/playroom but it’s definitely as close as it is because of the character portrayal itself. Stunning, really.
